Things To Do

St. Armands Circle

300 Madison Drive, Sarasota, FL 34236

Just over the bridge from downtown Sarasota, St. Armands Circle is one of our favorite places to stroll and soak up the Florida sunshine. The palm-lined circle is filled with unique boutiques, outdoor cafés, and plenty of spots for cocktails or ice cream. It’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon with family and friends, and it’s only minutes away from our wedding festivities.

Whitney's

6990 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key, FL 34228

Whitney’s is one of our go-to spots on Longboat Key! It’s super relaxed and right by the beach. The food is fresh (lots of seafood and brunch favorites), the cocktails are fun, and the whole place has this cool retro style since it used to be an old gas station. We love it for a laid-back brunch or sunset drinks, and it’s the perfect spot if you want to soak up the island atmosphere during your stay.

Lido Beach

Sarasota, FL 34236

Anna Maria Island

Waterside

1400 Lakefront Drive, Sarasota, FL 34240

Waterside is a newer spot in Sarasota that we love for its mix of restaurants, shops, and beautiful lakefront views. It’s perfect if you want to enjoy dinner by the water, grab a drink outdoors, or just take a relaxing walk along the boardwalk. The whole area has a fun, lively feel and makes for a great evening out during your stay.

Big Top Brewing Company (Fruitville Commons)

3045 Fruitville Commons Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34240

If you’re looking for a fun, laid-back spot during the wedding weekend, Big Top is one of our favorites! Known for its craft beers (and plenty of options for non-beer drinkers too), Big Top has a lively atmosphere with outdoor seating, food trucks, and often live music. It’s the perfect place to kick back, relax, and enjoy a little taste of Sarasota before or after the wedding festivities.
