FAQs

Question

Why haven’t our invites gone out yet?

Answer

Well unfortunately, with the rise of Covid cases once again this year, we were afraid to commit to a wedding list/quantity before we sent them out. We did not want to have to offend people by cutting down the list.

Question

When will invites be sent out?

Answer

I am hoping to have them sent out by the end of the month/early October. RSVPs will be due by mid November.

Question

Where are we registered?

Answer

Amazon. Link is on the website.

Question

Are masks/vaccination for Covid-19 required?

Answer

We do not require a vaccination but highly recommend it. If you are not, we ask you wear a mask or socially distance. We do not discriminate and believe it is your choice to be vaccinated, but please respect that we have many family members that are in poor health or immune compromised and we do not want our wedding to be the reason they become ill. If you are worried about your health or those of your family, we understand if you don’t feel comfortable attending.

Question

Have you blocked off any local hotels for out of town quests?

Answer

We have not. Most of our out of town quests are family and have other family members to stay with, but we have listed local hotels and inns on the site.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are suggesting cocktail hour/suits and nice dresses due to the theme but at most we just ask business casual!

Question

Tailgating?

Answer

We understand most people will attempt to also bring their own coolers but we kindly ask you not to. We will be providing beer and wine and there will be a cash bar for cocktails.

Question

Who is included on the RSVP?

Answer

The invitations will be specifically addressed to who is invited. For example: John Smith, John Smith + 1 or John Smith and family. We are not doing this to offend anyone but to avoid more people than we expected. Our primary reason is COVID-19 and keeping the amount of people to a minimum but also we are making the food solely ourselves and don’t want unexpected guests. We also are 100% liable for any damage done during our allotted reservation-we don’t want someone we don’t personally know or trust arriving, unexpectedly.

Question

What is the schedule?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 o’clock pm on the 18th of December 2021. The ceremony will be short. Directly following we will take photos while the guests mingle and our wedding decorators set up for the reception. Dinner will promptly follow. Once dinner is near complete will then do first dances/father daughter and son and mother. Reception/cocktail hour will then begin. We will have a dance floor and light music, but our sole purpose and want for our wedding is for our families to interact and become one. Send off will be at 9:00 pm The wedding reception will end at 10 o’clock pm as to give our wedding decorators enough time to tear down.

Question

Food & Drink?

Answer

Meat: pulled pork or pulled chicken (the sauces will be separate) on a slider bun Sides: Mac and cheese, green beans, slaw, baked beans and/or potato salad (the last two are still pending) Non-alcoholic drinks: tea, lemonade & water *we will not be providing soft drinks-you may purchase from the bartender* Alcoholic drinks: We will provide beer and wine. A cash bar will be available.
