The Lake House on Canandaigua is where we have reserved a hotel room block, and it is also the location of our ceremony, reception & after party. Canandaigua is a popular fall destination, and rooms at The Lake House tend to book up early! *Room rates starting at $550+ If you need additional assistance or have questions about room options, please contact the hotel directly and reference our wedding for help. Another great nearby option is Hotel Canandaigua by Hilton, located right on the lake and just about a mile from our venue. If our room block at The Lake House becomes full, this is a great alternative for the weekend! (4 min drive or a 15-20 min walk) *Room rates starting at $523+ There is no designated room block at this location — so please book directly. We recommend reserving early, as Canandaigua is a popular wedding venue.

If you're looking for additional availability or a more budget-friendly option, Comfort Inn & Suites in Farmington. (8.5 miles about 15-20 min drive) *Room rates start at $172+ There is no room block at this location — guests are welcome to book independently.

Another convenient option for the weekend is the Super8 by Wyndham, located a short drive from the venue. (1.5 miles or a 5 min drive) *Room rates start at $130 We do not have a reserved room block at this hotel. Guests are welcome to book independently, and we recommend securing rooms early.

Canandaigua has many Airbnb and VRBO options, especially around Canandaigua Lake and in town.

Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport

This is the closest airport to Canandaigua (about 35–40 minutes away) and the easiest option for getting to town. It’s a smaller airport with fewer direct flights, but very easy to navigate and close to the venue.

Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF)

About 1 hour 15 minutes from Canandaigua, Buffalo has significantly more flight options and is often less expensive. A great choice if you're looking for nonstop flights or flexibility with schedules.

Located about 1 hour 15 minutes away, Syracuse may be another great option!

Uber & Lyft

Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are available in the Canandaigua area. That said, this is a more rural region than big cities, and ride-share drivers aren’t as numerous — especially later at night or for longer trips. If you plan to explore more of what the Finger Lakes have to offer during your visit — wineries, lake towns, and scenic drives — renting a car is recommended.
