As we all have experienced, there is a little thing called a pandemic happening around the world. As such, things may change, so please check back with the website as the day gets closer! We are asking everyone to help protect the other guests by getting vaccinated and boosted. In addition, we are working to set up a testing site for all guests to receive free tests prior to attending the wedding. More information on this will be posted as it gets closer. Please note that it is required to have a covid test prior to flying to St. Croix, more information is on the travel page.
Tré and Conner met in January 2016 and after 4 months of flirting he decided to take her on a surprise date. The surprise was a success for both her and the other 16 people there, most of whom she had never met. With the promise of no more surprises they took the time to get to know each other and yet still somehow managed to rush into living together. During this time they traveled together, met each other’s lifelong friends and made new ones together, found new careers, and danced whenever they could. They also supported each other through hard times. In 2017 the VI and BVI were hit by two major hurricanes in the span of two weeks. This meant 3 months w/out power, learning how much propane you can fit in an apartment without causing a third disaster, and a rapid realization that wine is a much simpler alternative to beer when you can’t keep things cold. These times were not all bad as they were able to further strengthen relationships with family and friends that became family by all coming together and they will always remember that above all else. In 2018 the next chapter of their lives together began as they moved to Tampa. CA began her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy degree program which concludes in the Summer of 22. They purchased their first home the following year and discovered both the joys (gardening) and the downsides (everything else) of home ownership. We all know what 2020 brought us but as always they stuck together, supported each other, and slept on the couch when necessary (health and safety reasons of course). Tré proposed in April keeping his recently repaired knee extended out in front of him, and Conner said yes.
