On Friday you will have all day before the wedding to explore Sancerre! We have put together a list of recommended activities & food:
Most recommended: Explore the medieval old town of Sancerre!
Visit the Château de Sancerre: you can tour the vineyard on bikes, and/or has wine tastings available!

Domaine de Buranlure, a medieval fortress listed as a Historic Monument, where guided tours and on-site wine tastings are available. (15 minute drive)
ACTIVITIES:
Sancerre Golf Club, located along the Loire River.
Canoe trip down the Loire River, with the option of
an organized picnic (Canoë Évasion Sancerre). You can also enjoy a ride on a boat offering wine tastings and excursions on theLoire, just a 5-minute drive away in Saint-Satur.
