The Wedding Website of RICKY NIX III and CONNER REID
Nantucket is an island — which means the adventure starts before you even arrive! It is so worth it, we promise.

Travel Note

Ferry

All ferries depart from Hyannis, MA. Round-trip tickets run about $50 per person, and parking at the terminal is around $15/day. We strongly recommend booking your tickets in advance — especially if you're traveling in the summer. There are two options for Ferries! You can reserve at: steamshipauthority.com or hylinecruises.com/nantucket-ferry/

Flight

Cape Air

Cape Air runs quick 30-minute flights from Boston if you'd rather skip the drive.

Travel Note

From Boston 1.5-3 hours (traffic dependent)

Hop in the car and head south on I-93 S, then follow US-6 E all the way to Hyannis on Cape Cod — about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. From there, board the Steamship Authority ferry to Nantucket. The standard ferry takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes, or if you're eager to get the party started, the high-speed ferry gets you here in about an hour.

Travel Note

From New York (5ish Hours)

Hit the road north on I-95 through Connecticut, then pick up I-195 E and follow US-6 E across Cape Cod to Hyannis — roughly 3.5 to 4 hours. From Hyannis, it's the same ferry ride as above. Not a driver? Take Amtrak from Penn Station to Providence or Boston, then grab a bus or rental car down to the Cape.
