We met online while Conner was living in Washington State pending a move to Pennsylvania for a new Air Force position. Between June and August of 2024, we conversed back and forth daily through long “essays” and talked on the phone once a week for hours at a time. We discussed life, values, adventures, hopes, dreams, and a future. When Conner finally arrived, we went out on our first date to play mini-golf. Rachel absolutely kicked Conner’s behind! We then went to get ice cream which melted all over Conner. Conner was struggling! We returned to Conner’s apartment where he showed his mighty chef skills in the kitchen and redeemed himself. Over the next few months we went on a number of dates and adventures including the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, Yuengling Factory, the drive-in, baseball games, Knoebels and the New York Finger Lake Wineries. In October of 2024 we “officially” started dating even though Conner says we were dating since August. This will be an ongoing debate as Rachel says there’s a difference between dating and “dating”. Conner asked Rachel to marry him on their trip to Hawaii in August of 2025. We are so excited to spend forever together!
