To help us with our planning, we kindly ask that you RSVP by April 23rd, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by April 23rd, then we will assume you are unable to attend and unfortunately have to mark you as a "No." This is because we need to provide the venue and caterer with a total guest count in a timely manner, and we hope that you understand!
First of all, know that you will be dearly missed! If you are unable to make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "Declines with Regret," so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
While we would love to have everyone attend, due to capacity limitations, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation/RSVP. If you received a plus one, it will be clearly stated below your name. Otherwise, we ask that only named people in the invitation are in attendance. We cannot make exceptions to this rule. Thank you for understanding, and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
Yes! Our dress code is Black Tie. We would love to see our friends and family dressed in their best with us for our big day! This means tuxes, evening gowns, formal suit — whatever makes you feel your most fabulous. It will be springtime in New York, so think happy, spring colors, like an elevated garden party! The bridesmaids will be in green :) And if you're on the fence about what to wear, feel free to send an email or text our way. Truly as long as you're not wearing a white (or off white, eggshell, liiight yellow, etc.— anything in this family) floor length gown, then you are good.
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30pm. We recommend you arrive somewhere between 6:00pm — 6:15pm, so you'll have time to take your seat. And as they always say: if you're early, you're on time, and if you're on time, you're late! So, err on the safe side and arrive earlier rather than later. That way you'll have extra time to take in the beautiful views of Wave Hill and the magnificent world that our vendors have created.
We are having an "Unplugged Ceremony," meaning NO phones and NO cameras — PLEASE! The greatest gift you can give to us is being fully present as we say "I Do." We have hired the most wonderful professionals who will be capturing this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos & videos as soon as we receive them. So please, no grainy photos of Conner coming down the aisle or off-kilter zoomed in videos of us exchanging our vows. Just be with us! Before and after the ceremony? Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like! Heck, send them our way!
We love your little ones, we really do! However, our wedding celebration is going to be an Adults-Only event, so we respectfully request no children. We hope you understand and can take this opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved night out! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, so you can come celebrate with us!
Weather permitting (knock on wood, PLEASE!), our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors with dinner and reception to follow indoors. A little bit of everything!
You betcha! We will be serving hors d'oeuvres all throughout cocktail hour followed by a beautiful, full, sit down dinner before we boogie the night away. And you didn't hear it from us, but maaaybe be on the lookout for a late night snack ;)
Heck yeah! Beer, wine, premium liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages are on us; however, the hangover is on you! And as much as we love a party, please keep your own limits in mind during the reception :)
Yes indeed! A shuttle will be leaving from the Arthouse Hotel promptly at 5:45pm. However, if you're feeling adventurous and trust public transit, the 1 train will take you all the way to the Marble Hill-225th Street stop, and then you'll catch the Bx7 bus at the Broadway & West 225th Street Stop. Then you'll ride the bus 12 stops to the Henry Hudson Parkway East and West 252nd Street stop, and after ALL of that, you'll still have a 10 minute walk. So yeah, we suggest the shuttle or an Uber.
We're so glad you asked — yes! We have a block of rooms reserved at the Arthouse Hotel on the Upper West Side, on 77th between Amsterdam & Broadway. We LOVE this hotel, and it is located right in our neighborhood. If you end up staying here, please feel free to check out the "things to do" page for our recommendations in the area :) The cut off for this group block is April 23rd. New York is littered with wonderful hotels and Airbnbs, so please feel free to make this your weekend and stay wherever you please.
Yes! Head to "the big weekend" page and you'll find all the details!
