Country Club Plaza
Take a stroll around the Plaza for shopping, restaurants, cocktails, and some of Kansas City’s prettiest architecture and fountains. It’s one of our favorite areas to wander around, grab a bite, and enjoy the city—especially if you have a free afternoon before the festivities!
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
Explore one of Kansas City’s most beloved landmarks, featuring world-class art, beautiful architecture, and the iconic Sculpture Park. Admission is free and it’s an easy trip from downtown!
