FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are keeping our celebration intimate with our closest family and friends. Due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate the guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. We hope you can join us for a night of celebration!

Question

Are our children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event (with the exception of our nieces and nephews) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We want you to come and have a fun night out! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Question

Is it an open house reception?

Answer

We’ve designed the evening as a cohesive celebration and we’d love for you to be part of the whole story! Because we are hosting a formal seated dinner and have a flow planned for the evening, we are unable to accommodate 'open house' style visits. We truly want to share the entire experience with everyone—from the ring ceremony to the final dance.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive and plan to be in your seat for the ring ceremony by 5:15.

Question

What is a ring ceremony?

Answer

Two days prior to our marriage celebration, we will be married in a small ceremony at the Saratoga Springs LDS temple. In our faith, we believe this is a sacred sealing not only for our time on Earth, but for eternity. We have chosen to hold a Ring Ceremony at the start of our reception so we can celebrate our love and commitment publicly with all of our favorite people. It is our chance to exchange wedding rings, share heartfelt words, and have all of our loved ones witness this part of our journey together. We can't wait to share this beautiful moment with you before the party begins!

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The venue is an indoor greenhouse with temperatures in the low to mid 70s. So no matter the weather outside, it will feel like a beautiful spring day!
