Location: grungy bowling alley. First interaction: story of the duck. Instead of bowling, we played: Love Letter. When I met Conner for the first time, I had no idea I would one day call him my husband. Over the next few years, through service days, longboarding afternoons, and book club, Conner and I became good friends. There was a particular longboarding afternoon at Johnson Park where I felt our friendship cement (and book club was created). We sensed a chemistry, realizing just how much we had in common. Conner has made me laugh so incredibly hard many, many times in friendship and since we've become a couple, and I look forward to laughing with him forever.
