How do I find the Senate Parlor Room?

Answer

- Enter the Capitol and make your way to the Rotunda. - Once there, look at the light globes down each wing of the building. The Senate is in the South, find that one. - You can use the South Elevators or stairs to go to the 2nd Floor. You will walk out in front of the Senate Chamber - Walk into the Chamber. There will be a staff member present in the vestibule of the Senate Chamber to direct you to the Parlor.

Can I bring a plus one or my children?

Please refer to your invitation. If a plus-one or children are listed, they are more than welcome!

What should I wear?

Answer

We recommend semi-formal attire. The ceremony and dinner will be indoors.

Can I take ride shares or taxis?

Answer

Absolutely! Madison is very rideshare-friendly, and both venues are easy to reach via Uber or Lyft.

What should I do between the ceremony and dinner?

Answer

There are many restaurants, bars, and shops located on the capitol square. Do a little shopping or stop for a drink!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Cocktails and other beverages will be available during the cocktail hour and dinner.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We request that the ceremony be unplugged so our wonderful photographer can capture the moment without distractions.
