Yes, the dress code for our wedding is Garden Party Formal. We recommend flowy midi-length or full-length dresses in floral patterns or spring-inspired colors. Suits or dress slacks paired with a blazer are appropriate and encouraged.
Two shuttle buses will pick guests up from the Courtyard Charleston Waterfront hotel at 3:30pm. They will depart the venue to return guests to the Courtyard Charleston Waterfront at 11:15pm. We highly recommend taking the buses even if you aren't staying at the hotel! The Island House is located about 25 minutes outside of Charleston with no traffic (If ubering, please anticipate traffic and plan accordingly).
As much as we love your little ones, we will be having an adult-only wedding with the exception of our immediate families. Please enjoy the date night and we hope you understand!
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, with dinner and dancing underneath a large tented and fanned area.
We can only accommodate a certain number of guests. Your formal invitation will indicate if you've been given a plus-one. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
