Our wedding will be held in Louisville, Kentucky on August 1, 2026. The ceremony will take place at the Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville and will begin at 2:30 PM. Following the ceremony, we’ll gather for our reception at Whitehall House & Gardens, held outdoors in an elevated tented setting. Cocktail hour will be held from 5:00-6:00 PM, with dinner and dancing to follow from 6:00-10:00 PM. Please note that it is approximately a 15-minute drive between the Cathedral of the Assumption and Whitehall.
After the ceremony at the Cathedral of the Assumption, guests will have a bit of free time before cocktail hour begins at 5:00 PM at Whitehall. You’re welcome to spend this time however you wish before joining us for the evening celebration. Feel free to explore our “Things to Do” tab for suggestions.
Our wedding is Black Tie. We invite guests to dress in elegant attire suited to a summer garden setting. We look forward to celebrating with everyone looking their best! For men: A tuxedo or dark suit is appropriate. For women: Floor-length gowns are encouraged, with seasonal colors welcomed.
We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, or champagne, as these colors are reserved for the bride and her bridal party. Standard white dress shirts for men are, of course, appropriate. We also ask that guests avoid denim or casual attire.
To assist us with planning, we kindly ask that you RSVP at your earliest convenience. The RSVP deadline is July 1, 2026.
We are so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. To keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate those who are formally listed on the wedding invitation. If you have been given a plus-one, it will be clearly noted on your invitation and again when you RSVP.
Ceremony – Cathedral of the Assumption: There are several parking garages and ample street parking available throughout downtown Louisville near the cathedral. Reception – Whitehall House & Gardens: Whitehall offers limited parking located behind the gardens. Valet service will be provided; however, due to the limited number of spaces, we highly recommend using Uber, Lyft, or carpooling when possible. Please note that all vehicles must be removed from the property the same evening to avoid the risk of being towed.
We kindly ask all guests to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM, so please plan to arrive by 2:00 PM.
For our special day, we have chosen to keep the celebration adult-only so our guests can relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you’ll treat it as a special night out!
Yes! We have created a registry, which can be found under the “Registry” tab on Zola. Your presence is the greatest gift of all, but for those who wish to give, contributions to our honeymoon fund would be especially meaningful to us.
During cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a selection of refined hors d’oeuvres. A formal, plated dinner will follow, and guests will have the opportunity to pre-select their entrée in advance. Please be sure to indicate your meal choice when you RSVP.
If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, we will need to mark you as not attending. While we will truly miss celebrating with you, we must provide our venue with a final guest count within their required timeframe and are unable to accept late RSVPs. Thank you so much for your understanding!
We have secured several hotel room blocks at a discounted rate for our guests. All details can be found under the “Travel” tab.
The closest airport to our wedding is Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF).
Our ceremony will be an unplugged occasion. We kindly ask guests to remain fully present with us by putting phones and cameras away. Our professional photographers and videographers will be capturing every special moment, and we cannot wait to share those images with you! Photos and videos are warmly encouraged during the reception.
