Best Man
When Conner first showed up at work, Riley took one look and thought, “There’s no way I’m training this guy.” But fate (and a very persistent boss) had other plans. Turns out, Conner wasn’t the worst—just mildly annoying at first—and after a few skate sessions, a solid friendship was born. Since then, Riley’s been there for all the highs, lows, and questionable life choices, and was one of the only people who actually supported Conner and Alex from the start. Whether that says more about his loyalty or his judgment is up for debate—but either way, there’s no one better to hand Conner the rings and remind him not to trip on the way down the aisle.
Matron of Honor
While not technically married to Riley (the best man)… yet, Ashley and Riley have long been the couple Conner and Alex look up to—mostly because they seem to have this whole “functioning adults” thing figured out. Ashley has spent years rescuing Conner and Riley from their shenanigans, a full-time job that comes with no pay, no vacation, and plenty of eye-rolling. Since Conner and Alex got together, Ashley and Alex have formed a strong bond—mainly through shared survival. Whether it’s enduring endless football games, pretending to understand fantasy leagues, or sitting through yet another “quick match” of whatever mobile game Riley and Conner are obsessed with this week, these two have become each other’s lifelines. Basically, if the wedding runs smoothly, it’s probably because Ashley was there to clean up the chaos—just like always.
Maid of Honor
As Alex’s sister, Leah has proudly (and relentlessly) embraced her role as the “very, very annoying one.” Despite that, Alex loves her dearly—most of the time. Leah has always been kind of supportive, even when she didn’t really want to be (which, honestly, makes it even more meaningful). She was also the one who convinced Alex to tell Conner she loved him—possibly way too early—but, hey, it clearly worked out. So technically, this whole wedding might be Leah’s fault. Whether she’s offering questionably timed advice or keeping everyone laughing, Leah’s been by Alex’s side through it all—and now she’s doing it again, this time in a dress she probably complained about at least twice.
Groomsman
As Conner’s younger brother, Ethan’s had quite the glow-up—from the once-obnoxious little brother to a genuinely solid guy (most of the time). He was actually one of the first to support Conner and Alex’s relationship, back when others were still figuring out if it was serious or just another “phase.” Over the years, Ethan has become just as much Alex’s little brother as he is Conner’s. Whether it’s the two of them constantly roasting each other or Ethan offering his signature advice—“Just do it,” like he’s secretly on Nike’s payroll—he’s always been in their corner. Basically, Ethan’s the perfect mix of sibling chaos and unexpected wisdom… emphasis on the chaos.
Groomsman
Zaden and Conner’s friendship started the old-fashioned way—by force. Their moms made them say hello and play in Zaden’s front yard while they caught up, and somehow, that awkward playdate turned into a lifelong friendship. Even though Zaden lived in Virginia, the two stayed close, surviving on a steady diet of Skype calls, bad jokes, and questionable gaming choices. When Zaden first met Alex, his immediate reaction was, “You know she’s crazy, right?” Conner didn’t care (obviously), and Zaden stayed cautiously skeptical—until one night at his place when he and Alex were basically forced to talk. By the end of it, he admitted she was “still crazy, but not that bad.” If you know Zaden, that’s about as glowing of an endorsement as anyone’s ever gotten. And really, that’s what makes him the perfect lifelong friend—and an even better groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Ariel—though she’ll answer to Liz, depending on the day—has been Alex’s best friend since elementary school. Their friendship began when Ariel noticed Alex having a rough day and came over to cheer her up. From that moment on, the two were basically inseparable. Whether it’s been two hours or two months since they last talked, they’ve always picked up right where they left off—like true sisters (the kind who love each other but also insult each other for fun). Ariel’s known for two things: lovingly bullying Alex by questioning her life choices, and showing up way too early to any get-together just to sneak in extra time with Alex and Conner’s son, Gabriel. Through every stage of life—awkward phases included—Ariel’s been by Alex’s side, ready with support, sarcasm, and snacks.
Groomsman
Ian has somehow always been around—though if you ask Conner exactly how they met, he’ll have to think for a second before remembering it was through Riley (like most questionable life choices). They first bonded over the noble tradition of being single and bitter about it… and, well, let’s just say things have turned out a little better for both of them since then. In the friend group, Ian has somehow become the moral compass—the calm, rational voice among the chaos. While some people ask themselves, “What would Jesus do?” Conner and Alex are more likely to ask, “What would Ian do?” (usually right before ignoring the answer and doing something dumb anyway). Basically, Ian’s the glue that keeps this crew from completely falling apart—and he somehow does it without even trying.
Bridesmaid
Surprisingly, Kiki and Conner didn’t meet through their online school like you’d expect—they met bowling. (Because nothing says lifelong friendship like shared gutter balls and rental shoes.) From there, they kept running into each other until it just made sense to become friends. When Alex first met Kiki at her graduation party, Kiki had a hundred people to talk to—but still noticed Alex standing there not knowing anyone. So, in true Kiki fashion, she made sure to stick by her side and make her feel right at home. Since then, Kiki’s been by Alex and Conner’s side through it all—saving Alex from awkward social moments, passionately defending the couple during debates that probably didn’t need defending, and just being an all-around real one. Basically, if loyalty were a sport, Kiki would already have the gold medal (and probably still be humble about it).
Groomsman
Logan and Conner met the exact same way Conner met Kiki—online school magic strikes again. But Logan really earned his spot in this crew during the infamous Wedding Dress Fiasco of 2025 (don’t ask, it’s a very low moment in Alex and Conner’s lives). Logan was the perfect rescue driver—patient, calm, and somehow managing to blast jazz music at 2 AM. Weird? Yes. Memorable? Absolutely. When Alex and Conner asked him to be a groomsman, his first question was, “Yeah, but do I get to get a new suit?”—because he had just ripped his last one in a legendary fashion moment. When he’s not saving the day or negotiating suit upgrades, Logan’s your go-to guy for an all-you-can-eat hot pot marathon (because who else can handle that much food and still be the nicest guy in the room?). All in all, Logan’s just a genuinely sweet dude who somehow keeps everything together—even if it involves late-night jazz, last-minute emergencies, and some very questionable suits.
Bridesmaid
The youngest of the group—though you’d never guess it from her attitude or the way she carries herself—Lillian is sweet but packs a serious punch of fire. She’s the mastermind behind making Alex feel her absolute prettiest, whether it’s at their biweekly nail appointments/drama sessions or saving the day during an impromptu hair emergency. Honestly, Alex owes most of her good looks to Lillian—especially for this big day. Surprisingly, Lillian and Conner were friends first (a fact you’d never guess now), and she’s definitely on the same team as Alex and Conner in a lot of ways—some pretty big ones beyond just friendship. That shared side of the field has only brought Lillian and Alex closer over time. Basically, Lillian’s the youngest with the fiercest style and the biggest heart—and the secret weapon behind Alex’s glow-up.
Ring Bearer
Meet Freddy—our very own Justin Timberlake, but with even more charisma (and way more hilarious timing). He’s Ethan’s best friend, but somehow managed to sneak his way into everyone else’s lives pretty much overnight. Freddy is your go-to guy for horribly timed jokes that somehow make everything better, and impulsive decisions that keep life interesting (and sometimes questionable). No matter how chaotic things get, Freddy’s positive vibe is impossible to miss—he’s basically the human version of a good mood. In short: ring bearer by title, life of the party by nature.
Flower Girl
Meet Abby and Lydia, the absolute cutest girls you’ve ever seen—and Alex’s adorable cousins. Alex has had the joy (and occasional chaos) of watching these two grow up from tiny babies to the little ladies they are today. They’re also Gabriel’s best friends, which basically means these three are the ultimate squad—equal parts mischief and sweetness. Get ready for some serious cuteness overload when Abby and Lydia take the aisle!
Honor Attendant
Dom started out as just the guy who worked with Joe, the father of the bride, but somehow managed to level up to the best godfather to Gabriel and honorary uncle to Alex. He’ll be walking down the aisle with Gabriel, bringing his signature humor and a warmth that’s made him feel like family from day one. He’s honestly one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet—always ready to brighten the darkest moments with a joke (or three). And let’s be real, we’re all just thankful he put the right bet in the baby pool—because that’s how he sneakily worked his way into our hearts (and this wedding). Dom means the world to Alex, Conner, and Gabriel, and we couldn’t imagine celebrating this day without his humor, kindness, and—most importantly—his legendary timing.
Honor Attendant
Gabriel, Alex and Conner’s son, is the sweetest boy anyone could ever ask for. From the moment he met Conner, a special bond was formed—a love that changed both their lives forever. On this big day, Gabriel has the important honor of assisting in giving Alex away, a beautiful symbol of the incredible role he’s played in their lives. He gave Alex her purpose and showed Conner a new meaning to life and love. Gabriel is not just their son—he’s the heart that brings their family together, and we couldn’t imagine this day without him by their side.
Officiant
If there’s one thing about Alex’s family, it’s that when they find the right coworkers, they don’t stay “just coworkers” for long — they become family. When Tanya, the mother of the bride, started working with Irene back in 2015, it didn’t take long before Irene had everyone wrapped around her finger. With her big heart, quick wit, and laugh you can hear from three rooms away, she somehow managed to turn “work friend” into “family member” faster than anyone expected. So when Alex and Conner started thinking about who should officiate their wedding, the choice was obvious. Who else could make everyone cry, laugh, and cry again — probably in the same sentence? Irene has the perfect mix of warmth, humor, and heart, and they knew she’d bring all of that (and then some) to their special day. Alex and Conner couldn’t imagine anyone else leading them into married life — not just because she’s hilarious and kind, but because she’s truly part of the family.
