Lexi and Kevin met in high school in their hometown of Granby, CT where they quickly became best friends. Over the years they grew closer and closer to one another. In 2014, Kevin began visiting Lexi in her new apartment in Milford, CT. Quickly they became inseparable, spending every weekend together after Kevin gave himself a key to the apartment. During this time their Siberian Husky, Mila, formed a bond unlike any other with Kevin, as they spent most days just the two of them, while Lexi was at work over the summer of 2015. In July 2015, Kevin moved to Virginia to begin his active duty Army career. Six months later Kevin moved to his first duty station, Fort Bragg, NC. Spring 2016 Lexi was hired by Advance Auto Parts in Raleigh, NC. This allowed Lexi and Mila to join Kevin in North Carolina, bringing with them a new addition to the family, Tasha the German Shepherd. Lexi spent a month working from home allowing her and Tasha to form an undeniable love. Fast forward to November 2017 when Kevin surprised Lexi with a trip to Aruba for her birthday! Little did she know that was not the only surprise Kevin was planning. The first night in Aruba Kevin planned a photo shoot at sunset on the beach. All of a sudden Kevin got down on one knee and asked for Lexi's hand in marriage; she said YES! A few months later they decided to pack their bags and get married in St. Lucia

Q: Why St. Lucia for your destination wedding? K&L: We knew we wanted to get married in the Caribbean, and Lexi did extensive research on all the islands. We fell in love with the pristine beaches of St. Lucia with the mountainous backdrop and it is known for being the most romantic island. Q: Which song did you first dance to at your wedding? K&L: Keith Urban, "Making Memories of Us" Q: How many children do you want? K: 2 L: 3, but we'll see how I feel after 1! Q: Where is your favorite place you've lived? K&L: Richmond, VA Q: Where are your top travel destinations? K: Caribbean, Mexico, Italy L: Turkey, Greece, Australia, Thailand, Montana Q: What are you looking forward to most as a couple? K: A meal and a half at every meal, because Lexi only eats half of her food. L: I think just enjoying our time together, exploring the world and eating lots of good food alongside of our puppy babies.
