Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kimberly Woo and Connor Nance
We are so excited to welcome you to Houston—the city we grew up in, fell in love in, and now call home. It means so much to us, filled with memories, incredible food, and something for everyone. Whether it’s your first visit or a familiar place, we hope you’ll explore, try something new, and experience what makes Houston so special. We’ve shared a few of our favorite spots to help you enjoy your time here!
Memorial Park

Memorial Park

6501 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77007

We love to take Waylon on walks to Memorial Park! Since it is less than a mile from our new home, we will likely be there even more often!

Daikin Park

Daikin Park

501 Crawford Street, Houston, TX 77002

We have made a tradition of going to a game during Opening Weekend together. While the Houston Astros are not playing at home the weekend of our wedding, you can take a tour of the ballpark!

Puttery

1818 Washington Avenue, Houston, TX 77007

We had our very first date at the Puttery (yes - the very, very first date....)!

Johnny's Gold Brick

Johnny's Gold Brick

2518 Yale Street, Houston, TX 77008

We had our redo first date at Johnny's. After we got engaged, we went back there for a drink before getting to celebrate with our family and friends.

Goode Co. Kitchen & Cantina

2002 West Gray Street, Houston, TX 77019

With multiple locations less than 10 minutes from our homes, Goode Co Cantina is one of our favorite TexMex restaurants. We love it so much that we have been twice in one week!

Brenner's on the Bayou

Brenner's on the Bayou

1 Birdsall Street, Houston, TX 77007

We actually got engaged in the backyard of Brennan's! While we did not have dinner together there that day, we went back soon after to celebrate together.

Pinkerton's Barbecue

3801 Farnham Street, Houston, TX 77098

If you are looking for good Texas barbecue, you have to stop at Pinkertons. This particular location (off San Felipe) has a wider selection of food including biscuits and more dessert options - both are very important additions to an already amazing menu. We recommend the Man Bear Pig Sandwich, Duck & Sausage Jambalaya, and of course their award winning chicken thighs. Seriously - do not sleep on the chicken thigh!

Tiny's Milk & Cookies - Heights

Tiny's Milk & Cookies - Heights

3423 White Oak Drive, Houston, TX 77007

Tiny’s has one of the best chocolate chip! On Saturday mornings, you can often find us there on a walk with Waylon after our Saturday morning workout class.

Julep

1919 Washington Avenue, Houston, TX 77007

We are convinced that Julep is one of the best cocktail bars in Houston. When we go, we love to sit at the bar and chat with the bartenders.
