What’s the dress code?

Answer

Wedding: Well it’s the desert, so it’s going to be hot, even though it’s the fall average October temperatures can be anywhere between 70 and 90, so wear anything you’ll be comfortable in! Reception: None, wear whatever you like!

Will there be a formal reception in Las Vegas

Answer

We plan having everyone back to our suite for Hor d'oeuvres, cake and champagne, then hitting up the Strip/casinos!

Can I bring someone to the reception how wasn’t listed in the invitation ?

Answer

Of course! just let us know so we know how much food/drinks we will need

What you of food/drinks will you have at the reception on the 30th?

Answer

We don’t know yet, but don’t worry it won’t all be vegetarian!

Answer

We are finding out it’s very picky, try typing in the first and last name of one person in your party, and it should bring up the rest, it that doesn’t work try the next name, if that still doesn’t work contact John it Krista and we can try you what name it’s under.

What will be going on Thursday in Vegas

Answer

John and Krista will be arriving in Las Vegas at approx. 11AM and will then be running a few errands and going to the court house to obtain their marriage license As stated on the itinerary we would like to invite anyone who is already in town to join us for a drink and to watch the sun set over the strip at the Skyfall Lounge at the Delano hotel. Their website states nightlife attire, however we don’t know who strictly that is enforced, so if you plan on coming to that please plan accordingly. What will be going on Friday in Vegas?

Answer

John and Krista have tickets to see the Blue Man Group at the Luxor at 5pm. If anyone is interested in going to that as of 9/24 there appear to be plenty of seats available at a couple different price points. After the show we plan on getting dinner (possibly at The Yard House at the Linq?) and hitting up the strip. In the late morning or early afternoon John and Krista may be going to the Mob Museum and Krista and her mom are interested in going to Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum, both are in downtown Las Vegas near Fremont street. If anyone is interested in going to either of those places, let us know so we can coordinate! The Mob Museum’s admission cost ranges from $29.95 to $48.95 and are open on Friday from 9am to 9pm The Haunted Museum’s admission cost is $48 and they are open from 10am to 8pm We hope to meet up with all of our guests at some point on Friday! So please let us know if you’d like to go to either of the museums or want to meet up for dinner/drinks after the show

What’s the game plan for the day of the wedding?

Answer

So as stated in the itinerary, the ceremony begins at 3:30 and we are expected to arrive 30 min in advance. Before the ceremony we would like to get some photos with our friends and family most likely over that the wildlife habitat at the Flamingo. After the ceremony we’ll take more photos and then meet everyone back at the Cromwell for a small reception, we have no time limit on that. Afterwards we plan on just enjoying everything Vegas has to offer by hitting the strip and doing some gambling and drinking.

What’s going on in Vegas on Sunday

Answer

Sunday morning the Steelers Play the Broncos at 10am Vegas time. As most of you know Krista is a die hard Steelers fan and plans to watch the game at Noreens Lounge, the official Steelers bar of Las Vegas. They recommend getting there at least 30 mins before kickoff, which would be 9:30am for anyone who wants to join. Go Steelers! At 7pm John and Krista will be seeing Mystère by Cirque De Soli at Treasure Island. If anyone is interested in also seeing the show as of 9/24 there appears to be tickets available at several different price points. We don’t have any plans in between the game and the show, so if your still in town and want to meet up let us know!

Where do I park for the reception in PA

Answer

We have a small driveway what will fit a few cars but would like to save those spots for anyone with mobility issues. You are welcome to park along the street in from of the house on campus lane or along the grass on stadium blvd, which is the street along the side of the house. We also have permission from Bucknell to use their C63 & C65 lots that are above the stadium just a few minutes walk to the house
