Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We'll be having a formal wedding. Come prepared for an indoor/outdoor wedding with lots of dancing!

Is your wedding really at a zoo? Are the animals invited?

Answer

Yes and Yes! We have a love for NYC and animals, so the Bronx Zoo is the perfect place for us to celebrate our marriage. While you can't wander the zoo during the wedding, you might see some animals during the cocktail hour...

What else makes the Bronx Zoo such a special venue?

Answer

In addition to the animals, we also love that the Bronx Zoo is a non-profit, where the cost of our wedding goes to support the Wildlife Conservation Society's (WCS) mission to help save wildlife and wild places around the globe. You can learn more about WCS at www.wcs.org

Why do I select my main course early?

Answer

We are asking guests to select their main course when they RSVP. The Bronx Zoo is a green venue, and selecting your main course ahead of time minimizes food waste.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have decided to have an unplugged ceremony, and kindly ask that no phones or cameras are out while we say our "I do's." When we look up, we just want to see your smiling faces! Don't worry - there will be two amazing photographers and a videographer there to capture this special moment. (For the cocktail hour and reception, feel free to take all the photos you like!)
