Why a destination wedding & why Punta Cana?

Answer

To put it simply, it seemed easier. As many of you know, we wanted to have a baby sooner rather than later and purposefully chose a date that would allow for that. With Baby Cullinan due in July and us being first time parents, we decided we wanted a low maintenance but FUN environment for us to celebrate. We also love the idea of having the opportunity to spend 3-4 days with all of our favorite people while soaking up some Caribbean sun!

Do I have to stay at the Finest Punta Cana?

Answer

Because the resort is highly secured, those who do not have room reservations are not allowed on the premises.

What does "All-Inclusive" mean?

Answer

All meals, snacks and drinks (including alcohol), are included and unlimited! There are 12 restaurants, a food truck, several bars and lounges and 24-hour room service. There's also plenty of activities for adults and kids at no extra charge! We are bringing our children, are they invited to the wedding?

Answer

We have invited children who are close family members and kids (keiki) of our wedding party. Unfortunately, we aren't able to welcome all children to the ceremony due to space limitations but we hope to see them at our Pool Day and for "hang times" around the hotel! We specifically chose a family friendly resort so that everyone could join. This resort has an amazing kid section & pool. When booking your suite please note that the standard suites Finest Suites and the Finest Club Suites are kid-friendly. The Excellence Club Suites are adults only (18+). When booking your suite, you must enter the age your children will be at the time of the wedding. Everyone 13 years or older is considered an adult. The resort does verify passports and ages at the time of check in.

Can I bring a guest to the wedding & reception?

Please check your invitation! If you are listed as having a "plus 1" please be sure to list your guest on the RSVP ahead of time!

What are the differences between rooms?

Answer

There are 3 different suite levels: Suites, Finest Club suites, and Excellence Club suites. Rooms with the word “club” are suites with elevated exclusive amenities that include: -1 complimentary aqua hydrotherapy circuit treatment at the Spa -Access to 2 additional club restaurants -Access to the club pools and club beach areas -Upgraded premium liquor in your suite -Upgraded Bvlgari toiletries -Plus other perks listed on their website

When should I arrive and depart?

Answer

You're welcome to stay as long as you would like but please note that the resort requires a 3 night minimum stay. Our discounted discount code rates are valid from 4/15/2026 - 4/23/2026. To join all wedding events, we recommend arriving by either Friday, 4/17/2026 or noon on Saturday 4/18/2026.

When should I book my room?

Answer

ASAP! There is no room block in place and rooms are expected to sell out as it gets closer to the wedding day. If you are not able to secure a room at the resort, you will not be able to attend the wedding as the resort requires all guests to stay on site. Booking now will also allow you to choose from a large range of room types. Family suites, swim up suites, and club room suites are some of the room types that sell out first. Booking with our discount code, your room reservation is 100% refundable up until 24 hours before your arrival and only $1 is required to reserve and secure your room now.

When is the last day to book with the discounted rate?

Answer

The last day to book with the discounted rate or make any modifications to your reservation is 1/15/2026. Any modifications after 1/15/2026 will cancel your current reservation and it will automatically be rebooked at the current resort rates, which will be much higher as the wedding date approaches. Also, make sure your card on file has not expired as your card on file will be charged 30 days before your arrival. Your reservation will be canceled if your payment is declined due to your card on file being expired or if your bank blocks the payment if they detect it as fraud.

When will I be charged for the full amount?

Answer

By booking with our discount code, you will only be charged a $1 deposit at the time of booking. The balance will be charged in full to your card on file 30 days before your arrival. So if you plan on arriving Friday, 4/17/2026, your card will be charged 3/17/2026.

What if I need to change or modify my reservation?

Answer

You are not able to modify your reservation online. You will have to call the Call Center for any changes. The toll free number to call is USA: +1-866-211-6223. To view or cancel your reservation, you can visit the Finest website, click Manage Reservations at the top of the website, enter your reservation number and booking email to access your reservation details.

Do I need to RSVP and how do I do it?

Answer

Yes, an RSVP is required and appreciated for everyone. It is essential in planning for the wedding seating, meals, and beverages. If you already have plans to make the trip - please RSVP sooner rather than later! In order for us to be able to accommodate you; you MUST RSVP prior to the deadline of 12/15/2025. We appreciate your understanding with this! To RSVP locate the 'RSVP' tab on this site and follow the steps. Please include any guest that will be attending any of the wedding events. Please include any dietary restrictions you may have.
