The wedding will begin at noon. When you arrive, you are invited to join the Chattan (groom) and Kallah (bride) at our respective gatherings. The Kallah's gathering (Kaballat Panim) is where Rachel will greet you and welcome you to the wedding. During this time, also be sure to grab food and drinks at the shmorg. At the Chattan's tisch, you will find Ian surrounded by his male family and friends reviewing and signing several religious marital documents (Tena'im and Ketubah). At the end of the Tisch, Ian will be escorted by friends and family to Rachel for the Bedeken (veiling the bride).
The chuppah will take place from 12:45-1:30.
Don't worry, we all run late. If you happened to miss the shmorg, not to worry, there will be a brief second cocktail reception immediately following the chuppah before simcha dancing and dinner.
Dress code is semi-formal attire (suits and dresses). Feel free to bring a flare of Texas, Tribeca, or both to your attire!
We are not doing pre-wedding festivities; however, the day before the wedding is Shabbat. Please feel free to reach out to Rachel if you would like to attend her Shabbat Kallah, or Ian if you would like to attend Shabbat Chattan.
