We're Getting married!

It all began when two high-schoolers fell in love. It was the summer of 2013, when we met at a mutual friend's party. Although we did not actually talk that night, Cesar made it a mission to get my snapchat from a friend and immediately messaged me when we got home. After he sent that first message, we talked every single day. Little by little, our friendship grew into something deeper, and before we knew it, we had become inseparable. On April 18, 2014, we went to Santa Monica Pier with some friends and family to hang out and play in the arcade. As we were walking alongside the water on the sand, Cesar then unexpectedly asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes lol! I remember having the biggest smile on my face that night, I never wanted it to end. High school was full of memories for us. School dances, Friday night football games, and weekend movie dates became our favorite pastimes. On summer and winter breaks we would stay up all night till the morning talking over the phone about the most random things, like where we wanted to travel, how many kids we wanted in the future, and stories about our childhood. We grew up side by side, sharing nearly every chapter of our lives together. From walking the halls of our high school to cheering each other on as we built our careers, our love has matured and deepened with every season we’ve faced together. What began as a sweet story in high school has gently carried us here- towards a lifetime together.

On November 2nd, 2024, I was getting ready for what I thought was a photoshoot with Cesar's family. I got ready and he picked me up to go to Palos Verdes. When we were half way there he told me to put on a blind fold. My heart fell to my stomach, as I soon realized this was not going to be a photoshoot with his family! For years throughout our relationship, I have always imagined and dreamed of how Cesar would propose. When Cesar opened the car door and helped me out, I removed the blindfold and was met with the most breathtaking proposal I had ever seen. The teenager in me was filled with happiness, holding back tears of pure joy. Before me was a white, dreamy backdrop filled with white roses, overlooking the ocean—it was more than I could have ever wished for. Cesar then got down on one knee and popped the big question- of course I said YES! We celebrated the moment by taking photos and sharing a bottle of champagne as Cesar told me all about the love, thought, and planning that went into making the day so perfect. But the surprises didn’t end there. With the help of our family, Cesar planned a beautiful engagement celebration surrounded by our closest loved ones. The night was filled with laughter, happiness, and tears of joy- an unforgettable beginning to our forever.
