Will there be a separate wedding?

Answer

No, this engagement party is in lieu of a traditional wedding and reception. We hope you can join us to celebrate! We will be married in a private ceremony at a later date.

Are children able to attend?

Answer

While we love kids, due to the limited number of seats available we respectfully request that no children attend the party. Only guests listed on your invitation should attend.

What is the suggested attire?

Answer

Ladies: Sundresses, skirts, rompers or jumpsuits (please, no white!) For footwear: please note you may need to walk across grass to get to the barn, so be mindful of this when choosing your shoes. Men: Polos, button downs, golf pants, khakis, etc. Don't be afraid to throw some colors in there! Think summery, rustic, and elevated, not cocktail formal.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! There will be a trolley service from the parking lot (it may be a lawn) to the barn, and there are no stairs in the venue itself. Bathrooms are also handicap accessible.

What will the food options be?

Answer

We are so excited that Under the Moon catering is serving our party with fresh, summery and fun foods! We will feature a grazing table, sliders, empanadas, salmon, chicken, pasta salad, crispy brussel sprouts, sweet potato fries, and a delicious strawberry arugula side salad. This will be buffet style. Enjoy!! Additionally, we will feature an open bar with beer, wine, Surfsides, and an option between 3 mixed drinks: margarita, mojito, or fresh peach sangria!

Will you have any activities for guests?

Answer

Yes! We will have a grassy area where, pending weather, we can play some outdoor games. Additionally, we will have Arm Vibes Permanent Jewelry there for permanent or clasped bracelets, anklets, necklaces and rings! All jewelry is 14k gold filled and the quality is unmatched. No worries of tarnishing due to workouts or water here! We want you to leave *bedazzled.* We will have a custom temporary tattoo table as well to celebrate the bride and groom! You will have all the supplies you need at the ready to rock a design. Have some advice for the bride and groom to be? We will have a vintage style phone ready for you to record a message for us! Make sure you leave us your best marital advice, and don’t be afraid to get creative LOL. Last but not least, be sure to check out our polaroid picture table which will double as our guest book. We want you to snap happy memories and fill the photo book with your pictures and messages for the bride and groom to be!

What if it rains?

Answer

The Breezeway Barn venue is indoors. While we hope for a sunny day, the party will go on regardless of weather. If rain is in the forecast, bring your most colorful umbrella so we can snap some cute rainy photos!

Is there anything else to do on the farm?

Answer

After the party, feel free to stop by the Johnson's Locust Hall Farm Farmers market, where you can buy locally raised meat, delicious farm jams and honey, candles, soaps, decorations, and more! Behind the farmers market are the animals (including goats!) that you can pet through the fence.
