What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal. Suits are preferred for men and mid to floor length dresses are preferred for women.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, 500 Marina Club Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666.

I'm Flying, What's the Best Airport?

Answer

We have 3 airports in the area. The closest to the venue is BWI, which is about 45 minutes from the venue. The next closest airport is DCA, which is right near downtown D.C. It's about an 1.5 hours from the venue. Lastly, there is IAD. This airport is in Virginia, about 2.5 hours from the venue.

How will I get to the venue from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the hotels where we have blocks. If you are not staying at one of those hotels, we suggest getting a rental car. Stevensville does NOT have Ubers.

Question

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our lovely “beach club” venue is on the water, but it’s not your typical beach setting. Our outdoor ceremony will be on grass (weather permitting), and the reception will be indoors. No need to wear sand-friendly shoes!

I have a dietary restriction, what should I do?

Answer

If you have any kind of dietary restriction (allergy, diet, sensitivity, etc.) please indicate so on your RSVP form when you get it. If you submitted your form already, please contact us to let us know what your restrictions are as soon as possible.
