We met on a christian dating site. Someone got us to go on the site. I was only on there for a few days. When Desmond messaged me, I was actually about to shut it down just like he was. He messaged me and we began to talk. We met a couple days after we met online. He was kinda cute lol and she was looking sexy! Since we started talking we never stopped. We have gotten closer and closer.

The proposal was surprising! On Christmas at my family house there was some suspicious activity going on and I knew what it was about. No I don't like surprises so yes I was paying attention to every little thing. One of sisters told me that we was trying to take family pictures because my dad wanted a big picture with everyone. So I'm like that's cool. Then covid hit some of us so it didn't happen. My dad then send a text saying that he needed to talk to us about something and to make sure we have our support with us. Now a couple of us starting getting worried because we thought it was serious. Desmond calmed me down a little but I was still a little worried. My dad told us not to call or text him about it and that he would tell us all at the same time. on January 15th, we all got on zoom and my dad started to talk and the next thing I know, Desmond is stopping my dad from talking and moving my computer and I was trying to figure out what's going on and I look and Desmond is down on his knee. When he asked me to marry him someone answered for me (my mom) with this huge smile on her face. She answered before I could even answer lol. Its something that was special and that I would never forget!!
