You've watched us FALL in love, now come celebrate it with us!

If anyone knows Monica, they know she's a bit of a planner. So it's no surprise that she was trying to plan her own proposal. The first, and one of the biggest, things that connected us was our love of music. So when the opportunity to see three of our favorite bands perform at one festival, we jumped at it. Especially because the headliner was the band that plays our song, "If I'm Lucky" by State Champs. (Seriously, go look it up) So the morning of the festival rolls around and Monica is getting ready when she makes a comment, which was really a suggestion. "Oh wow wouldnt it be so romantic if you proposed while they played our song live?" To which Austin gives a distracted "oh yeah sure babe." (What monica didnt know is the ring was carefully hidden underneath the dresser she was getting ready on, and Austin was waaaaay ahead of her.) Fast forward to arriving at the festival. Monica makes another "comment" about how great it would be to get engaged today and Austin shoots it down. So we went through the whole festival (in 108° July sun mind you) with Monica sadly thinking that she really wasnt going to get engaged today. Of course Aaron, her brother, and Austin had it all planned out. After a long, hot, tiring day listening to music, during the last song of the night, at the very front of the stage where their favorite band was playing, Austin got down on one knee and surprised Monica with the best surprise she'd ever gotten. (and that's saying a lot because she doesnt like surprises) Special thanks to her brother, Aaron, who caught the whole thing on his phone!
