Our dress code is Business / Cocktail Attire. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, skirts or nice separates, button-down shirts paired with dress pants or chinos, and blazers or jackets if you'd like. Suits and ties are welcome but absolutely not required! We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, denim, or overly casual attire (such as shorts, T-shirts, or sneakers). Above all, we want everyone to look nice, feel comfortable, and be ready to celebrate with us! When in doubt, aim for something a little dressier than your everyday attire.
Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are specifically named on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, they are absolutely welcome to join us! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you come solo and celebrate with us as invited. Thank you for understanding!
Yes! We’ve reserved a room block at the Hyatt Place Austin / Downtown, which will serve as our primary hotel for the wedding weekend. It’s conveniently located in downtown Austin near plenty of restaurants, bars, and things to do, and it provides easy access to the wedding festivities. We recommend booking through our hotel block if you’d like to stay with other wedding guests. You can find the reservation details and booking link in the Travel section of our website.
Absolutely! We want everyone to be able to enjoy dinner safely and comfortably. Please be sure to note any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can share that information with our catering team in advance. We will also have vegetarian and vegan options available during the celebration. If you’ll need one of these options, please indicate that on your RSVP as well so we can plan accordingly. While we’ll do our best to accommodate dietary needs, advance notice is important, so please don’t wait until the dance floor is already calling!
Yes! Paid parking is available directly next to the museum at the San Jacinto Parking Garage, located at 2400 San Jacinto Boulevard. The garage is located immediately adjacent to the museum, making it the most convenient parking option for the ceremony and reception. Guests should anticipate parking to cost approximately $15–$18 for the evening, based on current University of Texas garage rates. Additionally, Guests are encouraged to use a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft, especially if you plan on enjoying a few drinks during the celebration. We want everyone to have a great time, and, most importantly, get home safely!
