We met working at a summer job during college. There were four of us that worked together every day and occasionally we would all hang out outside of work. One day Mikayla texted Colton and asked if he would want to hangout just the two of them sometime... without the group. Our first official date was hiking to and climbing the Governor Dick Tower in Mount Gretna in June 2014. We officially became "girlfriend and boyfriend" on September 12, 2014.

Fast forward seven years... We went to one of The Finger Lakes, Seneca Lake, in Geneva, New York for a trip. On the third day of our trip we had a wonderful day of hiking at Watkins Glen State Park, walking around the town, and having dinner at Edgar's Restaurant, which was in Belhurst Castle, where we were staying. After dinner, we took a walk around the beautiful property and went down to a pier on Seneca Lake. This is where Colton asked Mikayla to marry him and she said YES! It was truly a perfect day and overall an amazing trip full of memories. We can't wait to celebrate with you on 10.23.2022!
