What time should I arrive on the wedding day?

Answer

You are encouraged to arrive any time between 5:30pm and 6:15pm, please know we will start the ceremony promptly at 6:30pm and you may not be seated right away if you arrive on site after 6:30pm. If driving, please give yourself an extra 10min to park and walk over. The bar will be open starting at 5:30pm!

Will there be parking?

We encourage anyone who plans to drink alcohol, to please take an Uber/Lyft to the venue. For those who are driving, there is street parking and a nearby parking lot.

What should I wear?

Answer

We encourage cocktail attire! Think comfortable but dressy - no required to subscribe to our colors, but it would help the aesthetic of the photos ;) Think nudes, browns, and neutrals: champagne, beige, tan, brown, ivory, gold, and muted blush, burgundy or green for pops of color.

What will the weather be like?

The Los Angeles usual! We're anticipating a comfortable late summer day: around 75 degrees at 6:30pm - a little cool for some. You may want to dress light and bring a layer, to adjust to comfortability during the reception.

Answer

By no means are gifts necessary — you presence, is our present. If you feel inclined to send a gift to help us start our first home together, please see our registry linked at the top. If possible, we would love your help to build our book collection. If you have any books with particular significance to you, we would love a copy with a note written inside about why you picked it for us.

Are kids permitted?

Answer

We love children, and wish we could accommodate them for our wedding. In order to provide a seat to all our close friends and family, we do not have the capacity to include children (infants are okay - see below). If your kids will be in town with you, please let us know and we are happy to make recommendations for activities or a sitter! However, infants are welcome. Please let us know if you require a booster for them at your table. Or Mercy can hold them the whole time? She'd love that.

What about my dietary restrictions?

Please reach out and let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions and we will accommodate. The venue will not be able to accommodate the day-of, so please ensure the Bride and Groom know ahead of time.

Where should I stay?

Answer

You can't really go wrong in LA, as they say - everything is roughly 20-30 minutes away (without traffic). We have included several suggestions in our Travel link, but generally recommend sticking to the following neighborhoods: West Hollywood, Glendale, Echo Park, Silver Lake, DTLA, Highland Park, and Pasadena. We encourage you to see what activities you want to do in LA and check their distance to venue. Mercy is a big fan of DTLA and doing things in that area, which is about 15min from the venue. WeHo is about 35min away, but there's a lot of things for couples and adults to do! There is no shortage of other SoCal highlights (Disneyland, the beach etc.), so just reach out if you need any help with trip planning!
