We're getting married!

Became friends sophomore / junior year of high school. Randomly invited Colton to my birthday camping trip even though we didn't know each other super well yet. Turned out to be the best decision I could have made. We remained good friends throughout high school, attending multiple school dances together with friends. We became extremely close throughout our last years I high school & carried that friendship into our college years<3

Fast forward to a couple years out of high school we actually had a year where we didn't really speak. We both hung out with different crowds until one day we just so happened to end up at the same party at the same time. Well, that party was cut short by the cops and we may or may not have hopped a fence and scadaddled out of there and headed to Denny's lol Our friendship kickstarted since then and a year or so after that Colton hosted one of his annual Halloween parties and that's where it all started! We shared our first real kiss that night & that's when we realized we were dummies and looking right over the person god place right in front of our eyes.

Welp we hopped into a thriving relationship straight out of an amazing friendship and BAM! Then came baby! (lockdowns am I right? lol) We got to start our life of parenthood together on February 24th 2021 when we were blessed enough to welcome our baby boy Casey Wayne Briner! It has been the greatest adventure growing in life with our little guy, we are so blessed!

A bit of a backstory! When my birthday came around junior year of high school all of my friends had seemed to already have made plans for lunch that day without me. So, Colton being the amazing friend that he was could tell I was a bit bummed and cancelled his plans and treated me to lunch at Olive Garden (my fav, definitely not his lol). We had such a good time we ended up skipping the rest of school and took a good long drive afterwards (one of my fav things to do in high school). Welp, that became somewhat of a tradition for us & we did the same thing senior year for my birthday! Fast forward to November 19th of 2021 we had a special date night as mom and dad & Colton just so happened to agree on Olive Garden for dinner ;p Welp lets just say I was nervous as heck with a bit of a hunch that this might be the night and BAM after a beautiful blessing Colton made over our food he got up from the booth and got down on one knee and I was a blubbering MESS! lol the answer was of course, Yes!!!
