We met on the dance floor of the Hideaway where Ashleigh asked Colton if he would like to get a midnight bite to eat at Speakeasy where they then had French fries and lobster mac and cheese - the rest was history.

A couple days before proposing Colton asked Ashleigh if she wanted to go to Point Reyes to spend some time together before a trip he was going on. Thinking it was a sweet gesture Ashleigh said she would love to, he then said "To go look at the elk!" (which is a very Colton thing to say). What Ashleigh didn't know is that his plan was to actually propose. The morning of, Colton woke Ashleigh up early and she was taking her sweet time getting out of bed and out the door. Finally they got to Point Reyes where Colton kept commenting on the weather (it was foggy and drizzling) to which Ashleigh said "We can still see the elk!", they saw some elk and went on a walk. While on their walk Colton suggested they hike up a hill so that they could see the coastline knowing Ashleigh would want to take a picture of it. While her back was turned to him he pulled out the ring and got down on one knee and when she turned around he proposed. Even though it was a cold, foggy day it was the most perfect proposal!
