What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 3-3:15. You’ll have to allow a little extra time for parking since you’ll be parking in an arena. ***please note that seating will close at 3:30 to allow the wedding party to make their entrance***

Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

As of right now we are planning for the ceremony to take place outdoors! If the weather is bad we do have an indoor option.

Can I take pictures/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We want you to fully enjoy this moment with us, because of that we are having an unplugged ceremony. We encourage you to take pictures/videos during the reception. If you do, please use the hashtag #HookedaGill

Do I have to wear a mask or be vaccinated?

Answer

We want you to do what makes you comfortable. As of now, we are not making anyone wear a mask or be vaccinated. With that being said, we ask if you have been around anyone who has tested positive or you are feeling any kind of sickness that you stay home and celebrate with us from afar! We want to try to keep everyone safe.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Business-Casual. We want you comfortable our only request is no leisure wear.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! We love you and your kiddos! Please keep an eye on them because our venue does have horses and we don’t want any person or animal getting hurt.

Can I bring a plus one not listed on my invitation?

Answer

Please ask Us personally. We only have a certain amount of people we can have at the venue.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Since we cannot accommodate everyone’s favorite drink choices we are asking that you B.Y.O.B. We will provide non-alcoholic drinks. We also ask that you drink responsibly, we are not offering any shuttle services.

What is for Dinner?

Answer

We are having a BBQ buffet style dinner. The meats are teriyaki chicken and pork! There will be lots of sides and desserts! Come ready to eat! ***we do not have any vegan options or dietary restricted options***

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Unfortunately we were unable to block rooms for a hotel. There are many to choose from that are close to our venue! We do recommend that you book your hotel as early as possible. Air BNB is also a good option!

What does “Cake in the face” mean on my invite?

Answer

The bride OR groom will get a cake in the face! Whoever you WANT to get it, you’ll put your bet in their jar. Whoever has the most money in their jar gets CAKED!

Is there smoking allowed?

Answer

Yes there will be designated smoking areas for you to smoke. ***make sure you do not throw any cigarettes on the ground***
