We’ve always known of each other — growing up in the small halls of Clay Battelle, it was impossible not to. But it wasn’t until years later, through casual conversations that is when we truly connected. What started as simple chats quickly turned into something more. We found ourselves on a first date filled with laughter, kayaking, and dinner at Fusion. That first date was quiet — we were both a little nervous, unsure of what to say — but there was an undeniable comfort between us. Even in the silence, it felt easy. I wondered if he liked me at all, but he asked for a second date, and then a third. By then, he didn’t just tell me he liked me — he told me he loved me. And from that moment, everything changed. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Life together has always felt natural, like finding the piece you didn’t even realize you were missing. We are each other’s best friend, biggest cheerleader, and safest place. He is the most incredible man I’ve ever known — steady, selfless, and endlessly hardworking. He gives everything his all, whether it’s his job, his family, or the people he loves. His dedication, kindness, and drive inspire me every single day, and I’m so proud to build a life with someone like him.
