FAQs

If you have any other questions that have not been answered here, please reach out to the Bride, Savannah, at 847-804-1287. Text messages are okay (and preferred)!
Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

If your child is 10 years or older, we would love it if they came! We just ask that guests be at least 10 years of age or older.

Question

Can I wear white to the wedding?

Answer

Out of respect for the bride, we ask that you do not wear an all white dress or outfit to our wedding. :)

Question

Should I drive or fly?

Answer

We have done both and it is obviously your preference! If you plan on staying at one of the hotels nearby on Main Street and want less time traveling, flying is great. The Louisville airport is a 10-15 minute drive from the venue and Main Street! The airport is super clean and easy to navigate. The drive is also not bad (from Chicago) but keep in mind you will have to park your car and there will most likely be a charge to keep your car parked in the hotel garages downtown. If you choose to stay in an air bnb you can look for places that have parking included.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The museum parking lot is available for all of our guests. It is located off of Main Street, and there are signs to direct you there. If you plan on drinking we obviously don't recommend you drive, Uber and Lyft are very popular in Louisville. :)

Question

Should I bring cash for the bar?

Answer

The wedding will have an open bar, yippee! Although, tipping the bartenders would be very kind, and seeing as the bride and groom met as servers at a restaurant... it’s only fitting for you to do so. :)
