We first met at MacArthur High School in Lawton, OK. (We think around 2012.) We remember volunteering through student council and key club, and saying, “hi” to each other in the hallway. When we both entered college, we started talking more on social media while Maggie was a nanny in D.C. When Maggie moved back to Oklahoma to finish her government degree from Liberty University and start an internship with the U.S. Senate, Joshua asked her on a coffee date. This is where it all began. We are so thankful for God’s timing in both our lives. Joshua also received a government degree from Liberty University and interned for the U.S. Senate. We both share a love for God, country, and politics. You can say this is a true American love story!
