Would you look at that… we’re getting married!

We each had friends who were forcing us to get out of the house and come to a Viking themed Halloween party. I threw together a witchy outfit really quick and headed to Port Orchard to meet up with my friends, Adam and Amanda. Tim was newly living at Shane and Amanda’s house and they made him tag along. I knew no one at this party expect for the friends I came with so I observed and hung around my friends while getting to know other party goers. I remember being at the kitchen island and see this guy who was completely out of place… aka, he didn’t have a costume on at all. Total skater / surfer looking dude. Naturally, I wanted to figure out his story. I made a point to join in on group conversation he was involved in and ultimately made a really corny joke about his octopus tattoo! Little did I know, he made a point to run away from me because he felt I could be interested. 😜 Well, I found him again over at the tequila bar and we were able to start to get to know eachother over a couple shots of tequila. We chatted about drafting / technical drawing and line weights, ended up dancing like crabs in the living room and just had a genuine time being goofy strangers at a random party. My friends had to suddenly leave and with them being my ride, I had to unfortunately head out as well. I frantically shoved my phone into Tim’s face so he could enter his number. He walked me out to my friend’s car and ended up giving me a goodnight kiss! 🥰 The rest of the night we texted and chatted about going out on a date! Still to this day I hear about how the rest of his night went into the moments before heading to bed in Shane and Amanda’s trailer - “guys, guys, guys… I met a girl…” 💗
