We had to get a bit creative -- the schedule can be found in the "Gallery" tab :)
Hawkesdene is a 70 acre estate with a main house and multiple cabins on-site. We have the entire space booked from Thursday, June 12th at 4pm to Sunday, June 15th at 11am. There are short hiking trails, greenspaces for games, and an alpaca farm. Our goal is for a weekend retreat experience. Bring board/lawn games, hammocks, hiking shoes, or whatever you'd like! The lodging cost is $300/person, regardless of length of stay. This includes all meals, plus beer/wine Friday and open bar Saturday. The venue website can be found here: https://www.hawkesdene.com/ Go to the "Travel & Lodging" tab to book your room. For amount to be paid, enter $300 times the number of people in your party. If you'd like to find your own lodging nearby, you are welcome to do that as well.
You can fly into Atlanta, Chattanooga, or Asheville airports.
Yes, there is complimentary high speed wi-fi in all lodging areas. If you can't take the day off Friday, you're welcome to work remotely from the venue!
All your meals are included during your stay. You are welcome to bring your own food if you'd like. All lodging areas will have access to a full or partial kitchen.
Only if you want something special! Beer and wine will be provided Friday night. Saturday night, we will have a full bar free for guests. If there's anything specific you would like to drink, feel free to bring it.
Children may come for the weekend, but are not invited to the Friday Trivia, ceremony, or reception. If you would like to bring your kiddos, please contact the bride if you need assistance with childcare during those events.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
The attire for the ceremony and reception on Saturday night is cocktail/semi-formal (short or long dresses; suit jacket preferred but tie optional). Friday night is dressy casual. The rest of the weekend is casual.
