Brian and Nick, also known as the Elmwood connection, grew up across the street from each other and have been best friends ever since the first grade. They played thousands of hours of sports in Brian's yard, rode bikes around the block for hours, and played soccer (Ridley Rattlers, Interboro Fireballs/Crew), baseball (A's), basketball (GYC Champs) and flag football together (Dominating champions, no big deal). Their friendship continued into high school and eventually even to Penn State, where they continued to play sports together, namely best of 7, best of 7 beer pong. They can still be seen playing soccer for the Donkey Mob at YSC, albeit much slower and less coordinated than they used to be. Now, they both share the joy of being homeowners. Brian is Nick's best man and the biggest threat to Lex and Nick's marriage.

Danielle is both the brides cousin and her godmother! She is always someone our family can count on.

Joey Pitts

Joey and Nick met in Mrs. Fieo's 4th grade CCD class and instantly became best friends. After inviting Nick to his first Union game, Joey marched into Nick's house and convinced Mrs. Franz to buy a PS3 and Modern Warfare 2, both of which Nick was previously unsuccessful. From that point throughout middle and high school, Nick spent about as much time at Joey's house as he did his own. Playing capture throughout Prospect Park, playing Zombies until Mr. Franz woke up for work and having to pretend to be asleep, and competing to the be the best at everything they did, the two became "step-in-brothers". Joey is still saved as New Dragon in Nick's phone (they're both 27 year old men). It is no surprise that their pushing of each other to be the best has resulted in them being the two reigning Fantasy NBA league champions.

Ava Franz

Ava is a cousin of the groom but has been like a sister to him! We love watching her success in softball and can always count on her to attend any and all sporting events with us!

Eddie Collins

Eddie is the only sibling of the bride and groom, as Nick is an only child. However, having Eddie and his car problems as a younger sibling does in fact make it seem like we have 10 siblings. Nick first met Eddie when he was 13 years old, which is crazy because he looks older than Nick now. Very quickly, the two shared a passion for gaming, music, and trying to get under Lex's skin. Their alliance vs. Lex has made family gatherings and get togethers a great time. Nick famously rescued Eddie from the GoodWill in Delaware when his unreliable Chevy Blazer went bust (for the first of 26 times). It turns out that Nick has a soft spot for those that suffer with car problems. Also, Eddie's birthday (22nd ;)) is at midnight, so be sure to wish him a happy birthday when you see him!

Through thick and thin Kayli has been there for the bride since meeting at WVU in 2019. They have shared so many laughs and are always there for each other!

Andrew Bucher

Andrew "Buch" Bucher and Nick met in Mr. Jenning's "gifted" class (gifted is hard to define) in 2nd grade. From bird walks to "What in the World?", the two struck up a friendship. This would grow stronger throughout middle and high school soccer, where the two played 6 years together and won 3 Del-Val League titles. Andrew and Nick also shared a passion for philanthropy and volunteer work, serving meals at the Ronald McDonald House together. The two would go on to be roommates for 3 out of the 4 years at Penn State (Andrew deserted Nick and went to Germany sophomore year). The sharing of a Soviet Bloc at 516 Packer Hall and the critters of 714 N Atherton St have strongly bonded them. In adulthood, they share a passion for hikes, football (soccer), history, and geopolitical affairs. Andrew must also be credited with giving Nick some of his all time favorite show (Game of Thrones) and movie recommendations (Lord of the Rings). He's also the reason Nick ever started lifting weights. #Gains

A coworker from chop has turned into a life long friend for the bride! We love double dates in the city with her and Jordan! Her kindness radiates to everyone she meets!

Jay and Nick did not meet until high school, but their friendship was always destined to blossom. Through various means, including but not limited to haircuts at the Encarnacions and Greg Reichard's math class, the two crossed paths. They quickly joined forces to move up the FIFA Pro Clubs ranks as members of Baby Daddies FC, eventually becoming Division 1 champions. Their shared love and suffering of the Philadelphia Union made the two quickly become best friends, and they have shared countless Doops together at PPL Park, Talen Energy Stadium, and Subaru Park ever since. The force between Jay and Nick was almost strong enough to win the Phillies a World Series in 2022, where they both had Ballpark Passes and attended dozens of games in left field. The two also have tattoos as a result of a promise/bet and are still waiting for the Union to win their first trophy.

Lauren is another coworker turned bestie from CHOP. She is the life of the party and make every moment so special. We love taking pics and dancing the night away!!

Colin McCarry

Colin and Nick met playing for the Ridley Rattlers soccer team at the ripe age of 8. The two quickly became friends, with Colin even trying to bring Nick to the dark side by showing him his first Star Wars Movie (The Clone Wars?). With Nick moving to a different club, the two went their separate ways in life. However, a higher power brought them back into each other's orbit at the famed 714 N Atherton St Halloween Party of 2018. The two rekindled their friendship and some, realizing their shared passion for Marvel, Game of Thrones, sports (namely football/soccer), and chaos. Colin and Nick quickly became best friends, with Colin being the ultimate "down for anything at anytime, anywhere" guy. Colin even made Nick try and enjoy his first meatballs at the age of 23 (sorry Mom). The two now share a love for Noah Kahan and a passion for running, which Colin also helped to inspire.

Arianna is the brides very first friend at her very first big girl job! The bride couldn’t have made it through our first job without her. Even though we don’t work together anymore she will always be my work wife!!

Josh Encarnacion

Josh Encarnacion, aka JETheGame3, and Nick met through sports in their childhood. Both fierce competitors, the two shared a love of winning that culminated in a DelVal League basketball championship. When Nick went from 4th to 6th grade, Josh and Nick quickly became best friends, with Josh being one of the most supportive figures in his grade skipping. From childhood to middle school sports and eventually to captaining both the JV and Varsity soccer teams at Interboro, Josh and Nick's brotherhood only grew stronger. It must also be mentioned that the two became Division 1 Pro Clubs Champions for Baby Daddies FC. Josh also inspired Nick's only job besides teaching and coaching in his life, reffing. Members of the MASO Mafia and EPYSA Referee Association, both went on to have equally similar referee careers.

Katie is a long time friend of the groom thanks to our best man Brian. Katie being the only girl with these boys welcomed the bride with open arms and always made sure we coordinated outfits for all the group events!!

Brandon "Chip"/"Chomp"/"Chimp" Welden and Nick became friends in Kindergarten, where they were in the same class. Chip used to draw Nick pictures in class each day, which Mrs. Franz still has if anyone wants to see. Although they went to different elementary schools, the two played soccer together on the Interboro Fireballs/Crew. The two became best friends in high school, where they played soccer together and watched compilations of the AngryVideoGameNerd and Hell's Kitchen. Chip and Nick would eventually continue their friendship at Penn State, where their shenanigans and shared love for sports gambling (both illegal and eventually legal) brought them closer. Larissa and the bride were also coworkers at CHOP but their friendship bloomed after! Larissa is so kind and supportive. We are so blessed to have gotten closer this past year.

Dom and Nick did not meet until high school, but their shared love of soccer and humor quickly made them best friends. With Dom being the unpredictable younger brother and Nick the wiser older brother, the two navigated both high school and college at Penn State together. The two have spent countless hours at Strath Haven shooting soccer balls, had hundreds of lifts in The Yard during the Pandemic, and at one point were the two best pool players this side of the Mississippi. From playing video games together, to pick up games in the Backyard and events in college and beyond, the shared shenanigans have resulted in a bond filled with an infinite amount of laughs and good times.
