Where is the ceremony?

Answer

Same place as the reception. We are keeping this simple with everything in the same room so that people dont have to worry about shuffling around 😀

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by end of September 20th, 2022. We are doing buffet if Covid isn't still and issue. Otherwise we will do a sit down dinner and we need a head count to give to the catering crew either way. We are also making wedding favors and need to know how many to make :D

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are happy to celebrate this occasion with you and know that there will be questions about gifts. We are registered at a few places. Just look under the registry section in the tabs! If you are traveling and dont want to lug a gift around you can also help us with our honeymoon fund or house fund. Steve requests coffee or beer 😄

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are a lot of hotels in the downtown area and elsewhere in Salem. The convention is connected to the Grand Hotel, which is pricey. There is Uber and Lyft though if you want to stay outside the downtown area for more affordable options and dont want to rent a car.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the convention center! You can enter it from Liberty St. by pulling in and driving down into the sub level. If the parking space is full there is parking near by at the Chemeketa Parkade, 300 Chemeketa Street NE (3 blocks North on Commercial). Enter off Commercial Street just south of Chemeketa Street. Also there is Pringle Parkade. Roof Top Parking 325 High Steet SE (Southeast of the Convention Center). Enter from High or Liberty Streets There is free three hour parking which is enforced 8am to 8pm. There are also metered parking as well. Make sure you give yourself time for parking. It can be competitive and we wont be the only event happening at the Conference Center.
