Sometime things are meant to be, and it just “Happn’s”. Tanuj and Micaela met on a dating app - Happn. Tanuj was relatively new in town and Micaela was a NYC veteran. They crossed paths, and after a couple of rounds of yes/no/maybe, Micaela had had enough of Tanuj’s jokes (or rather couldn’t stop laughing at them). They decided to meet on a glorious Spring Wednesday evening for one drink. That one drink turned in to four hours of sharing their lives and lots of laughter. Tanuj promptly asked Micaela for a second date while dropping her home and that was it. They both knew they had found someone special. Fast forward to November 2020, Tanuj planned a romantic weekend getaway in upstate NY. Knowing Micaela loves sunsets, Tanuj was hoping for the perfect sunset to ask "the question" and while the weather gods didn't seem to be on his side, he knew he could count on the multiple bottles of champagne to make up for the cloudy skies. Needless to say, she said YES and made him the happiest man ever! Through the last five years, Tanuj and Micaela have enjoyed traveling the world - pictures of near and far you’ll see on this website. They have also enjoyed sharing their families, backgrounds and cultures. All of which they hope to be able to share with their closest friends and families at their wedding in the Hamptons, NY in June’22. Hope to see you there!
