We met working in a school together in 2016, and worked together closely from 2017-2020, but were both dating other people seriously. Brad reached out to Collins for some work advice in 2021, not realizing they were both single. “Grabbing a beer” turned into three hours, and resulted in nearly daily texts to each other. After two more not-quite dates, Collins admitted she had a crush on Brad, and we started dating. We’ve now been through a job change, two promotions, and a move from Denver to Minneapolis. We are so excited that we get to continue to build our lives together!
Dress Code Our wedding will be semi-formal; a jacket and slacks or cocktail dress work great. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, we’ll move indoors for dinner and dancing — dress in a way that suits you for both! Transportation We recommend using a ride share or public transit to get to The Trailhead (the blocked hotels are about a 10 minute drive to the venue). There is ample parking if you choose to drive. The Trailhead does not allow parking of large passenger or commercial vehicles (busses, etc) Children Our wedding day will be adults-only. We’re hopeful that with this advance notice, our friends with children will be able to enjoy a well-deserved night out! Dietary Restrictions We will have gluten free and vegan options at all junctures (beverages, happy hour snacks, dinner, and dessert). If you have any allergies, please let us know! After Party Our venue closes at 10. We’ll likely head to a bar near the hotel blocks to keep the party going afterwards. Come on by to grab a drink if you’d like!
