We were assigned as desk-mates in college at the ages of 17 (Stephanie) and 18 (Collin), and naturally started hanging out over our mutual love of Black Ops (yes, we're nerds), projecting it onto the classroom wall most nights to relieve the stress of college. Eventually, not only did their kill/death ratio grow, but also their feelings for each other. After 8 months of quickly becoming the best of friends + dating, Collin returned home to North Carolina while Steph stayed in Minnesota. Seeing each other only 3 times a year, we stayed connected over Skype, phone calls, and playing online games together to keep things interesting. After over 2 years of doing the whole long-distance thing, Steph decided that the distance apparently wasn't far enough and moved across the country to Oregon to finish her degree in Photography at George Fox University. Meanwhile, Collin studied away at NC State, focusing on Industrial Design and being the college mascot on the side (he finishes Spring 2019!).  Finally, after over 6 years together, Collin and Stephanie are elated to finally be in the same place for more than 3 weeks at a time once they are married! It's gonna be interesting, folks!
