What should I wear?
Answer
We request that guests wear semi-formal/cocktail attire. Our ceremony will be outdoors, with an indoor dinner, and outdoor dancing!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
The weather in Montana can vary in August, however, in a typical year it is quite warm while being hot during the day and comfortable in the evening. Please check the weather before you pack!

What is the schedule of events?
Answer
We're kicking off the weekend with Welcome Drinks on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. Cocktails, drinks, and small bites will be enjoyed as well as everyone's company as we prepare for our dig day! On Saturday, shuttle service will be leaving Red Lion Inn at 4:30 p.m. Guests not using the shuttle service should plan to arrive at The Silver Knot around 5:00 p.m. for a pre-ceremony drink. Our ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing! As for Sunday, we are planning a rafting trip for those interested in exploring Montana's beautiful views. We will provide details once we have an estimated headcount.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Answer
Yes, a room block under Colling/Jensen wedding has been secured at Red Lion Inn (see Travel section). We recommend staying here as transportation will also be provided to/from this hotel and the venue on our wedding day.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the reception?
Answer
Yes, a shuttle service will be provided to and from Red Lion Inn and the ceremony/reception venue! The shuttle will depart Red Lion Inn on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and will have multiple return times.

Will there be alcohol served at the wedding?
Answer
Yes, absolutely! Wouldn't be a proper celebration without. Signature cocktails will be offered as well as an open bar serving additional liquor options, beer, and wine.

What will be served for dinner?
Answer
Dinner consists of pulled tuscan braised beef or rosemary-thyme oven roasted chicken with roasted garlic parmesan potatoes, sauteed vegetables and house cauliflower salad. Vegan and GF options will also be available!

Can I bring my children? Can I bring a date?
Answer
Your kids are the cutest, but this is an all adults event. We want our wedding to be your night off so we can celebrate! Please only RSVP for guests included on your invitation.

Can I take and post photos of the wedding on social media?
Answer
We ask that our guests put away and silence their phones for an unplugged ceremony. Following the ceremony, we encourage guests to help us document the day. Our only request is that you tag us with our wedding hashtag #CollingDibsOnJensen and share your pictures with us! Make sure to check out the QR code during cocktail hour to activate your disposable camera!
