What Is a Traditional Ghanaian Wedding?

Answer

A traditional Ghanaian wedding is a vibrant cultural ceremony that celebrates the union of two families. It typically involves a formal introduction, blessings from both families, and traditional attire. It’s a joyful event filled with Ghanaian food, music, dancing, and rich cultural symbolism. Question

Is There A Dress Code?

Answer

Yes! We are asking our guests to wear semi-formal white attire or African attire for the event as apart of tradition.

Question

Can I Bring A Plus One?

Answer

If your invitation includes “+1” or a guest’s name, then yes—your plus one is invited! If you're unsure, feel free to reach out and ask.

Question

I'm coming out of town, should I think about renting a car?

Answer

Yes, we highly recommend renting a car. Houston is a large, spread-out city and public transportation is limited. Having a rental car will make it much easier to get around, especially between the airport, hotel, wedding venue, and other events. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are available, but wait times can vary depending on location and time of day.

Question

What If I Didn't RSVP In Time?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue and catering deadlines, we may not be able to accommodate guests who RSVP after the deadline. We truly wish we could include everyone, but we appreciate your understanding as we finalize our plans. Thank you for understanding!
