Thanks to their shared class at Greenhill School, video production, Shelci and Collin were forced to work on group projects and easily became friends. Fast forward several years later, Shelci was with her friend (and one of her bridesmaids), Madeline Medellin, at Austin City Limits in October 2017, and across the packed crowd outside the Tito’s tent, she spotted Collin Ray. She beelined through the crowd to go say hello. After a short, almost inaudible catch-up conversation, in which they discovered they were both back living in their hometown, Dallas, TX, Collin waited a few days after the concert weekend concluded to ask Shelci to go to a Mavs game with him. With the (now ironic) caveat that it would be just as friends, Shelci accepted Collin's invitation. Now those "friends" are getting #marRAYed!
