Sammy and Collin met in 2020, during a time when the world felt uncertain, yet their connection felt sure from the start. From the moment they met, they wasted no time getting to know each other and decided to go on a date right away. Their first date was at BJ’s Brewhouse, and it didn’t take long for them to realize something special was happening. Neither of them wanted the night to end, so they spent hours driving around, finding every excuse to keep the conversation going. They went out again the very next day, and from that point on, the rest was history. Their connection was instant, natural, and peaceful. Collin still jokes that Sammy “never stopped talking” on their first date — something rare for her, but apparently a good sign. That night, she even texted her best friend to say she had a really good feeling about him. As Sammy finished school at USD and Collin continued building his career, they grew together and supported one another through every stage of life. When Sammy was accepted into PA school, Collin didn’t hesitate to pack up and move across the country with her to Greenville, South Carolina in December 2023. Throughout her time in school, he was her rock — cooking meals, offering encouragement, and making sure she always felt supported and loved. In February 2025, Collin planned the perfect proposal at the Greenville City Falls, one of the first places they had visited together after moving there. After a seemingly normal day filled with errands (including, of course, Costco), he got down on one knee and asked Sammy to marry him. Little did she know, both of their families were secretly nearby, waiting to surprise her afterward. Shortly after getting engaged, they knew that San Diego would always be home. After Sammy graduated from PA school in December 2025, they moved back to the city where their story first began. Now, they are happily settling into life as fiancés, planning their wedding in the place they love most. If you know Sammy and Collin, you know they are happiest doing life together — whether that means weekly Costco trips, trying new restaurants, shopping for furniture, or simply enjoying the little moments. They are each other’s best friends, biggest supporters, and favorite people to laugh with. They are so grateful for the journey that brought them here and cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by family and friends.
