We met in a small west Texas town, Lubbock! We both came to Lubbock for jobs at Texas Tech University. At a Christmas party on December 10th, 2017, Collin was wearing a "Happy Birthday Jesus" sweater, and that is when I knew he was special. After that fun night, we started hanging out and that turned into daily dinners and weekend adventures. We are both from the Midwest (Collin Illinois and Samantha Indiana) where we went to high school only an hour and 15 minutes away from each other! I never thought I would end up in desert west Texas, but it turned out to be the best decision of my life!
