Collin and Lexie’s story begins long before either of them knew it would matter—back in high school. They shared a class together where, on at least one memorable day, they played Battleship. Collin noticed Lexie right away and thought she was cute… but, in true Collin fashion, kept that thought entirely to himself. Life moved on, graduation came and went, and years passed with both of them living their own stories—until fate (and a very determined mutual friend) stepped in. Collin was strongly encouraged to add Lexie on Snapchat, and just like that, the spark that had been quietly waiting finally had a chance. Even then, Lexie took the lead, she was the one who asked Collin on their first date. Luckily for both of them, Collin said yes. From that first date on, they’ve been inseparable. Along the way, Collin introduced Lexie to The Lord of the Rings. Since then, they’ve watched the extended editions three times together—and yes, once even in theaters—proving their dedication to both each other and very long movie marathons. When they're not watching movies, they're usually doing something competitive (no surprise there) such as; playing video games, board games, golfing, and pickleball—often turning everything into a friendly rivalry. They also make a point to try each other’s hobbies, even when it's not exactly their favorite—because loving someone also means showing up for what they love, even if you’re not very good at it. What started as a simple yes turned into an unexpected adventure—proof that sometimes the best journeys begin with a small, brave step (or a Snapchat add). Together, they’ve built a partnership full of laughter, competition, kindness, and love—two people choosing each other every day, like a fellowship of their own. Now, as they head into their next great adventure, they’re ready to walk this road side by side—because no matter where the path leads, it’s one they choose to take together.
