We're Getting Married

We met in the beautiful city of Prague, at our company's Christmas party, and were obviously completely sober. The bar was across the street from Narodni Divadlo, the National Theater, in the heart of Prague. A friend introduced us by swapping our nametags at the party, which gave us something to talk about. Larissa says she "clocked him from across the room", and Larissa isn't known for holding back from what she wants. Our whole group of friends departed the Christmas party for a second location, Futurum, where we could talk and enjoy the ambiance and sip classy drinks, and which was not at all a grimey Prague dance club known for their generous pours. After several hours of intimate conversation and longing gazes, we shared our first kiss as the night ended, on the corner of Lesnická and Zborovská street.

We got engaged in Page, Arizona, on Valentine's Day, on the precipice of Horseshoe Bend. Our Prague friends were in town for a reunion, and Collin suggested a trip north to see Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and Page - though he was secretly (or not so secretly) planning to propose, and, being Collin, wanted everything to be literally exactly perfect. On Valentine's Day, we all went for a hike, culminating in the iconic site overlooking the Colorado River. Collin dropped to one knee and asked Larissa to spend the rest of her life with him - the rest is history!
