What does the 'Black Tie Optional' dress code mean?

Answer

A tuxedo dinner jacket and tie or bowtie is preferred. A dark suit and tie is also allowable. Formal gowns, jumpsuits, pantsuits or cocktail dresses are required. Formal dress shoes are required (dress flats in lieu of heels are perfectly fine).

Do I (and/or my guest) have to be vaccinated for covid-19?

Answer

Not anymore as of March 1!

Question

Will I need transportation to and from my hotel to the venue?

Answer

No! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all be held at The Rookery Building, which is less than a block away from the hotel (1-2 minute walk).

Are children invited?

Answer

If their names are explicitly included on your formal invitation, yes! Otherwise, we really love your kids, but we want this to serve as a relaxing night off for you.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your formal invitation says "and Guest", yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
